Connecting my Facebook Page and Instagram Account

How Do I Connect my Facebook Page and Instagram Account?

In order to connect a Facebook page and Instagram account to DGTLsuite, they need to be associated with each other. Connecting your Instagram account to your Facebook Page provides additional benefits, such as the ability to:
  1. Integrate third-party apps, like DGTLsuite
  2. Share posts between the two platforms
  3. Share ad experiences between the two platforms

Before you Begin:

If your Page is managed in Meta Business Manager, you must have a professional/business account on Instagram. NOTE: If your Instagram account is a personal account, you'll be prompted to switch to a professional/business account during the linking process.

You must have Facebook access to a Page to manage linked accounts.

How to Connect or Disconnect an Instagram Account from your Page

  1. Log into Facebook, then switch into the Page you want to connect to your Instagram Account
  2. From your Page, click "Manage"
  3. From the left menu under Professional dashboard, click "Linked Accounts"
    1. To connect an Instagram account, click "Connect Account". Enter your Instagram account's Username and Password and select "Log In"
    2. To disconnect an Instagram account from your Page, click "Disconnect Account" and click "Yes, disconnect" to confirm
